Know what is reliable and what remains in progress.
A developer preview does not mean every production capability is frozen. This page separates the current baseline from unfinished work.
In the baseline
- Available Server-authoritative semantic terminal state and Apple Replica
- Available Workspace, Terminal, Attachment, and input-lease objects
- Available History paging, Rootless and Managed baselines, and Files/1
Partially implemented
- In progress ACKs, cumulative semantic diffs, and more efficient state delivery
- In progress Managed worker discovery, upgrade governance, and production observability
- In progress Wider public-network chaos testing and long soak tests
Not complete
- Not complete QUIC DATAGRAM state channel
- Not complete Astra-over-SSH stdio fallback
- Not complete Windows and Linux desktop clients and an Android client
Reading product claims
“Continue after disconnect” means a client disconnect does not end a Terminal still held by the server. It does not mean process memory survives a full server or PTY-owning worker restart.
